The filter element of a water purifier is the most important component, and the effectiveness of water purification depends on the quality of the filter element. Therefore, when selecting the filter element, caution should be exercised.
1> Activated carbon filter element
There are two types of activated carbon filter products: compressed activated carbon filter and bulk activated carbon filter.
The compressed activated carbon filter adopts high adsorption value coal based activated carbon and coconut shell activated carbon as filter materials, and is sintered and compressed with food grade adhesive. The compressed activated carbon filter element is wrapped with a layer of non-woven fabric with filtering function inside and outside, ensuring that the carbon core itself will not drop carbon powder. The two ends of the carbon core are equipped with soft nitrile rubber sealing pads, which make the carbon core fit into the filter cartridge with good sealing performance.
The loose type activated carbon filter element loads the required activated carbon particles into a specially designed plastic shell, and uses welding equipment to weld the end caps to the two end faces of the shell. Non woven fabric filters for filtering are placed at both ends of the shell to ensure that the carbon core does not drop carbon powder and black water during use. According to customer needs, the shell end cover can be made into different types of connection ports. The interface methods include: flat pressure type and pipeline type.
2> PP filter element
PP filter element, also known as PP melt blown filter element, is made of polypropylene ultra-fine fiber hot melt entanglement. The fibers randomly form a three-dimensional microporous structure in space, and the pore size of the micropores is distributed in a gradient along the flow direction of the filtrate. It integrates surface, deep, and fine filtration, and can intercept impurities of different particle sizes. Filter cartridge accuracy range 0.5-100 μ m. Its flux is more than 1.5 times that of the same precision peak room filter element, and it can be equipped with different types of end cap joints to meet the needs of various engineering installations.
